Stamford Recreation offers lessons and camps for children of all skill levels, ages six months and up! Regardless of their level, your child will improve their skill, comfort, and safety in the water.

As a reminder when coming to City of Stamford swimming locations, all patrons (if using a flotation device) must use a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved flotation device. Additionally, if your camper is going to a beach location for swimming, water shoes are required while walking on the sand, in the water, and while swimming. If at any point you are unsure whether a flotation device is allowed, please ask a lifeguard. Also, proper bathing suit attire is required to swim in the Dorothy Heroy Pool. No street clothes.
